Adam Kingsley retired from his playing career 16 years ago, but Giants fans probably want him playing next season after seeing these photos.
The 47-year-old was on Monday confirmed to be the next head coach of GWS, beating caretaker Mark McVeigh and leading contender Adem Yze to win the vacant senior coaching job.
The 2004 Port Adelaide premiership player will succeed Leon Cameron as Greater Western Sydney coach after forging a strong reputation as an assistant at the Power, St Kilda and Richmond across the past 16 years.
However, the thing that has stood out most for some footy commentators are the cannons sitting where his biceps should be.

Popular radio figure and footy commentator Ryan Fitzgerald has been among those to be blown away by Kingsley’s gun show.
“Is it fair that to say Adam Kingsley has been training for the GWS role all his life. What a beast,” Fitzgerald wrote on Twitter alongside a photo of Kingsley kicking the footy at a Richmond training session.
“This shot could be more iconic than yours Bucks.”
Former world champion and Commonwealth Games gold medallist James Magnussen on Tuesday said Kingsley had a “veins popping” physique.
“I saw a photo of him yesterday, the guy is jacked,” Magnussen said on SEN Breakfast in Sydney.
“He’s got to be the muscliest coach in any form of football here in Australia.
“He’s muscled up, shredded, veins popping, the whole kit and caboodle.”
ABC sport sports commentator Brett Sprigg also wrote: “Adam Kingsley is the big, big mound from the west of the town”.
Kingsley had been in a battle with North Melbourne legend and Kangaroos assistant coach Brent Harvey for the title of most jacked assistant coach in football, but that mantle now belongs to Boomer once again.
Kingsley played 147 senior games with Port Adelaide before he hung up the boots in 2006.
Having served in assistant coaching positions at the Power, St Kilda and Richmond, Kingsley was reportedly one of the top candidates to be appointed coach of Carlton and Collingwood last year, but was ultimately overlooked.
The Tigers have since cleared Kingsley to continue on as a senior assistant coach at Richmond through to the end of the club’s finals series campaign.
Kingsley has signed a three-year deal and has the task of lifting the Giants from the bottom four, potentially without midfield stars Tim Taranto and Jacob Hopper, as well as young pair Tanner Bruhn and Bobby Hill.
Those four players are weighing up their future, with Taranto, in particular, waiting to find out who the coach would be before making his call.
Melbourne assistant coach Yze was widely considered to be the frontrunner before GWS announced Kingsley’s appointment on Monday, after new North Melbourne coach Alastair Clarkson withdrew last week.
Giants chief executive David Matthews said Kingsley’s appointment marked the “next chapter” in the club’s brief existence.
