The Dockers return to the finals for the first time in seven years and their first assignment is last year’s runners-up the Bulldogs in a cutthroat elimination final.

Fremantle (15-6-1, 117.0%) heads into this clash without Nat Fyfe, but they have proven on many occasions this year that they can cope without their superstar captain, especially in the first half of the season when they went 9-3.

The Bulldogs (12-10, 108.9%) scraped into the finals by the skin of their teeth, but all that matters for Luke Beveridge’s men is that they made it. They’ll have to overcome the significant loss of Tom Liberatore (hamstring) to make it through to the semi-finals, though.
