Brisbane will be desperate to clear Cameron Rayner ahead of a crunch elimination final against Richmond next week when the Lions front the AFL Tribunal on Tuesday night – follow the hearing in our blog below from 5:30pm AEST!
Rayner was hit with a careless conduct charge for his tackle on Ben Brown during the Lions’ loss to Melbourne last Friday, while defender Noah Answerth accepted his one-match ban for striking Alex Neal-Bullen.
Brown left the field after the tackle with blood streaming from his nose, but passed a concussion test and returned to the field.

The incident was assessed as careless conduct with medium impact and high contact, which equates to a one-match ban.
Rayner enters the finals series in career-best form, with his penultimate game of the season his best yet, tallying four goals (three in the final quarter with the game on the line), 18 disposals and five score involvements.
