NSW have some unwanted history, having been bowled out by Western Australia for 76 in just 21.4 overs at the WACA.
The total was the lowest in List A history for the Blues, once again putting the focus back on the state’s batting. It was also the equal seventh lowest in List A history.
After winning the toss and electing to bat, the Blues slumped to 6-20 as Australian quicks Jhye Richardson (4-24) and Jason Behrendorff (3-17) ripped through the visitors batting order.
A 38-run partnership between Sean Abbott (12) and Daniel Sams (26) gave the Blues a little relief, before the latter played at a ball he should have left and was caught behind.
