Linksys Velop Login Guide
Before you get started with the Linksys Velop Extender Setup guide, be sure to have the following things ready:
- Current Velop network with a parent node
- The latest Linksys app installed on your mobile device
- A fast and reliable internet connection
Now, follow the steps mentioned below to make your Linksys Velop WiFi mesh extender up and running:
Step-1: Open the Linksys App on your mobile device and tap on the Log in button. Enter your email address and passphrase and hit Log In. Once logged in, the app will take you to the dashboard of your Linksys Velop.
Step-2: Tap on the Menu icon. A list of options will appear. Here, you need to tap on the Set up a New Product option.
Step-3: Tap on the option that reads ‘To extend my WiFi with a new child node’.
Step-4: The next screen during the Linksys Velop setup will ask you to enable Bluetooth. Do that to proceed further.
Step-5: All the terms and conditions will display on the appearing screen. Read them carefully and tap on the Next button.
Step-6: Now, it’s time to turn on your Linksys Velop WiFi mesh extender. Plug in the extender into an electrical outlet and tap on the Next button.

Step-7: Wait for some time as the app will start up the new mode.
Step-8: The next screen will ask you whether you are seeing a purple LED or not. If you are seeing the purple node, hit the Yes button. If not, there is an issue with your Linksys Velop. In such a case, it is recommended you contact our experts for quick help.
Step-9:
The Linksys Velop setup app will take a few minutes to add the node to your WiFi mesh system. So, wait for some time.
Step-10:
Spot Finder will determine whether the location is good or not.

Give a name to your node. You can also choose a name from the provided options on the screen.

If you wish to add another node, tap on the Add Another Node button and repeat the instructions mentioned above.
